Company Background

We are representing a client who is a well-established manufacturing company in Klang. As they are expanding, they are currently hiring HR Manager to join the team. This role will be reporting to director and will be leading a HR team which consist of 7 Headcounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and strategic manpower planning to ensure optimal workforce alignment with business needs
  • Proactively manage employee relations, addressing concerns early to prevent escalation and maintain a positive workplace culture
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant HR documentation, records, and management reporting
  • Design, implement, and manage employee development and talent growth programs
  • Develop, enforce, review, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and standard operating processes (SOPs)
  • Ensure full compliance with labor legislation, employment standards, and foreign worker regulations
  • Handle disciplinary actions, misconduct investigations, and employee terminations objectively, consistently, and professionally
  • Design, implement, and manage performance management frameworks to drive accountability and high performance
  • Identify underperformance early and partner with managers to implement effective corrective and improvement plans
  • Coach and guide line managers on effective people management, employee engagement, and conflict resolution
  • Act as a firm, independent, and trusted advisor to management on people-related risks and organizational decisions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; professional HR qualifications preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years HR experience where 5 years in managerial role from manufacturing or heavy industry environment.
  • Experienced in full HR spectrum and familiar with local employment law.
  • Experienced in managing foreign workers including disciplinary issue and permit renewal.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing effective HR strategies and industrial relations.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin (Due to business nature)
Working Hours

Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm

Sat, 8:30am-1pm (Saturday half day is under review and might change to 5 days soon)
