A private education institution in Putrajaya is seeking an experienced HR professional to manage recruitment, employee inquiries, and HR documentation. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Human Resources or a related field with 2-3 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and proficiency in HR operations are essential. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a positive work environment within the education sector.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee inquiries and concerns.
Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in accordance with company policies.
Manage and maintain HR documentation, including employee files and policies.
Draft and issue HR-related letters, including employment offers, confirmation, warnings, termination, and salary adjustment letters.
Oversee office administration tasks, including supplies management and correspondence.
Ensure accuracy and legal compliance in all HR documentation.
Maintain proper records of issued letters for reference and audit purposes.
Assist the full‑cycle recruitment process for Abedeen Academy, including job posting, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
Collaborate with hiring managers and HQ to identify staffing needs, define job requirements, and implement effective sourcing strategies.
Support employer branding initiatives and ensure a positive candidate experience through clear communication, professional interview coordination, and smooth onboarding procedures.
Prepare onboarding materials for new hires.
Assist in identifying talent gaps and support the development of workforce planning strategies.
Identify training and development needs and assist in coordinating relevant programs.
Manage training budgets, attendance, and evaluation of training effectiveness.
Maintain training records, reports, and HRDF claims (if applicable).
Handle Employment Pass applications, renewals, and cancellations for foreign workers.
Liaise with government agencies and ensure compliance with immigration laws.
Provide assistance to the officer in charge in the preparation and submission of Employment Pass applications.
Assist in the development, review, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
Act as a point of reference for employees regarding company policies, ensuring consistent application and understanding.
Provide a comprehensive range of HR support services to ensure a positive and productive work environment at Abedeen Academy.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 2‑3 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar role.
Experience in the education sector or a similar environment is an advantage.
Solid knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, IR and regulations.
Good track record in building professional relationships and strong credibility.
