Job summary

A construction company in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Executive to manage the recruitment process, maintain employee records, and support employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate has a degree in Human Resources, a minimum of 2 years’ HR experience, and strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws. This role involves liaising with government bodies for compliance and providing PA support to the Director within a positive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on HR experience.
  • Mentally resilient and able to work under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process from job postings to onboarding.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HRIS system.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and performance management.
  • Assist in developing HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage employee relations and handle grievances.
  • Handle foreign worker management including visas and permits.
  • Liaise with government bodies for compliance.
  • Prepare HR reports and ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Act as key HR contact for employees and management.
  • Provide PA support to the Director.

Education

Degree/Diploma in Human Resources Management or Business Administration
