Job summary

A construction company in Petaling Jaya seeks an HR Executive to manage daily HR operations, ensure compliance with policies and laws, and support organizational goals. You will oversee recruitment, payroll processing, and maintain employee records. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, at least 5 years of HR experience, and communicate fluently in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently are essential.

Job Summary

The HR Executive manages daily HR operations, ensures compliance with company policies and Malaysian employment laws, and supports organizational goals through effective people management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee end-to-end HR operations: recruitment, onboarding, confirmations, and exit processes.
  • Manage and process monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory submissions.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and HR databases.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal HR policies.
  • Support performance management, appraisals, and disciplinary actions.
  • Manage employee relations, inquiries, and grievance handling professionally.
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives for staff.
  • Prepare HR reports, manpower planning, and management presentations.
  • Support audits, inspections, and HR compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with management to implement HR initiatives and process improvements.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree / Advanced Diploma / Diploma in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software (e.g., InfoTech).
  • Strong communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and handle confidential information.
  • Team player with positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and discipline.
  • Willing to work at Plaza IBM, Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya (near Bandar Utama MRT).
