This role is responsible for end-to-end recruitment and employee relations support across business units. The incumbent will act as a strategic partner to hiring managers in attracting top talent, while ensuring fair, compliant, and engaging employee relations practices that sustain a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition
- Partner with business leaders to understand hiring needs, define job requirements, and develop effective sourcing strategies.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
- Build and maintain a proactive candidate pipeline through networking, talent mapping, and employer branding activities.
- Lead hiring campaigns and coordinate with external agencies, universities, and career platforms to strengthen talent outreach.
- Ensure timely hiring delivery aligned with business timelines and headcount plans.
2. Employee Relations (ER)
- Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns and workplace issues, ensuring prompt and fair resolution in line with company policies and Malaysia labour law.
- Support disciplinary and grievance cases, ensuring accurate documentation and procedural compliance.
- Provide guidance to supervisors on employee engagement, communication, and retention practices.
- Conduct stay interviews, exit interviews, and analysis to identify key employee trends and improvement areas.
- Support implementation of HR policies and initiatives that promote a positive and compliant work environment.
3. HR Operations & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure accuracy in HR documentation related to hiring, transfer, and separation.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues in training, C&B, and operations to deliver integrated HR solutions.
- Participate in HR projects and process improvement to enhance efficiency and candidate/employee experience.
- Maintain data integrity and timely HR reporting for management decisions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably with exposure to both recruitment and employee relations.
- Strong understanding of Malaysia Employment Act and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Proactive, responsible, and capable of building trust with business stakeholders.
