Job summary

A prominent employment agency in Johor Bahru is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead HR and administrative operations. You will develop strategies that promote employee engagement and corporate culture while managing recruitment end-to-end. Job description

Lead and oversee HR and administrative operations, ensuring alignment with company goals and the smooth execution of processes, while providing HR guidance to leadership in fostering a positive and productive workplace.

Develop and implement HR strategies to support business growth, employee engagement, and corporate culture.

Manage end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, background checks, and onboarding.

Ensure HR policies, procedures, and departmental SOPs are compiled, standardized, documented, and maintained in line with ISO requirements through regular reviews, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives, while supporting certification processes.

Handle employee relations, including grievances, conflicts, disciplinary actions, and terminations, in line with company policies and legal guidelines.

Identify training needs and oversee skill-enhancement initiatives to support employee development.

Oversee and drive corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs that foster employee engagement and strengthen community involvement.

Review and develop competitive compensation and benefits strategies based on market benchmarks.

Implement strategic staff retention initiatives to enhance employee engagement, improve job satisfaction, and build organizational loyalty.

Oversee office administration, facilities management, procurement, vendor management, filing systems, office supplies, and general services to ensure smooth daily operations, while providing administrative support for finance.

Undertake any additional HR and administrative responsibilities as assignedbymanagement.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.

Strong knowledge of HR policies, labour laws, and industry best practices.

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English; additional languages are an advantage.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a proactive mindset.

Willing to travel and must possess own transport.
