A growing restaurant chain in Kuala Lumpur seeks an HR Assistant to enhance operations and employee experience. The role involves recruitment, maintaining employee records, and supporting training initiatives. As PAUL Malaysia continues to grow, we are expanding our HR team to strengthen support for our people and operations. The HR Assistant plays an important role in ensuring smooth HR processes, timely assistance to outlets, and a positive employee experience.
This position is open to both experienced candidates and fresh graduates who are eager to learn and build their HR career in a supportive environment.
Assist with job postings, interview arrangements, and candidate coordination.
Support the preparation of onboarding documents.
Assist in arranging orientation, uniform distribution, and staff ID preparation.
Maintain recruitment trackers and ensure timely updates.
Maintain employee personnel files (physical & digital) with accuracy and confidentiality.
Update staff information in HR systems and internal trackers.
Support insurance enrollment/termination and liaise with insurance providers.
Monitor attendance and follow up on missing punch‑in/out or documents.
Compile and update MC, annual leave, unpaid leave, and other leave records in accordance with the Employment Act 1955.
Work closely with outlets to ensure timely submissions.
Assist in responding to employee queries in a respectful, helpful manner.
Support documentation for disciplinary matters and domestic inquiries, aligned with Industrial Relations Act 1967.
Assist in employee engagement activities and company events.
Coordinate training schedules, attendance, and evaluation forms.
Update training records and monitor expiry dates for required certifications (e.g., Food Handler).
Provide day‑to‑day HR support to HQ and outlets.
Assist in HR audits, uniform issuance, and monthly/quarterly HR reporting.
Maintain a professional, service‑oriented approach at all times.
