Job description
Overview

Founded in 1995, Omniwise International Group of Companies (OIGC) continues to grow across several industries by bringing together the strengths of its subsidiaries.

Our group provides services in aviation, water treatment manufacturing, energy efficiency, food & beverage operations, IT, and international trade.

We focus on delivering practical solutions, building strong partnerships, and maintaining responsible, sustainable operations that create lasting value for our clients.

Role Description

We are looking for an HR & Strategy Executive who can manage the full scope of HR work while also supporting the company’s planning and performance efforts.

This is not a routine administrative role — it suits someone who enjoys solving problems, analysing data, and preparing clear reports and presentations for management. The position combines human resources, finance coordination, and business strategy support under one roof.

You’ll work closely with senior management and the CEO, helping to shape both our people operations and our internal processes as the group continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Handle all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, leave management, and employee relations.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and performance tracking systems.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory bodies such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRD Corp, KDN, and JTK.
  • Manage disciplinary and welfare matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • Assist management in reviewing organisational structure and workforce planning.
  • Prepare consulting-style management/proposal decks, reports, and presentation materials for meetings and proposals.
  • Gather and analyse HR, finance, and operational data to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Support the CEO and senior management on project monitoring and business planning.
  • Coordinate policy updates and other improvement initiatives across departments.

Finance & Administration

  • Support basic finance tasks including invoice tracking, payroll reconciliation, and expense monitoring.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other statutory agencies when needed.
  • Provide simple performance and financial summaries for internal reporting.
Requirements
  • Degree in Human Resource Management, Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a similar field.
  • At least 2 to 4 years of experience in HR, business support, or finance roles.
  • Knowledge of Malaysian labour law, industrial relations, and statutory compliance.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel to prepare management reports and presentation decks.
  • Familiar with HRIS or accounting software such as Deskera HRMS, UBS, SAP, or QuickBooks.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
  • Analytical, organised, and reliable, with the ability to handle confidential matters.
  • Experience in consulting, process improvement, or organisational development will be an advantage.
What We Offer
  • Exposure to strategic projects and close collaboration with the senior leadership team.
  • Opportunities to work across multiple industries under a growing Malaysian group.
  • A supportive environment that values professionalism, structure, and continuous improvement.
  • A role that combines HR operations with business strategy, ideal for those looking to grow into management or consulting positions.
