As an HR cum Admin Executive in an automotive gearbox OEM environment, you will manage a wide range of human resource and administrative functions to support daily operations. Your role includes recruitment support, employee relations, performance management coordination, and general administrative duties. You will ensure compliance with employment regulations, maintain accurate employee records, and assist in organizing company activities while supporting workplace safety and security.
Basic Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in HR and administrative roles, preferably in a manufacturing setting
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Support the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding
- Manage employee confirmations, terminations, probation reviews, and contract renewals
- Collect and verify employee attendance, process leave applications, and maintain HR records and databases
- Prepare employment contracts and ensure timely documentation for new hires
- Support employee relations matters, including discipline, counseling, grievances, and compliance with Malaysian labor laws
- Process and verify employee expense claims and assist in preparing HR-related reports
- Ensure HR operations comply with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements
- Identify training needs, arrange training sessions, and coordinate performance evaluations for individuals and teams
Administrative
- Manage and coordinate company security-related matters
- Maintain and update all documentation required for ISO compliance
- Oversee housekeeping-related tasks and ensure a clean and safe working environment
- Coordinate company-wide activities and events
- Handle procurement of office supplies, equipment, and other administrative needs
- Assist with general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document control
- Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Solid understanding of Malaysian employment laws and HR compliance
- Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is a plus
- Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of teamwork
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
- Knowledge of HR processes, employee relations, and HR statutory requirements
- Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is an added advantage
