Oversee the complete HR spectrum, including talent acquisition, employee development, and performance management.
Manage the entire employee lifecycle, covering onboarding, induction, and learning management processes.
Performance Management
- Coordinate annual appraisal cycle: goal setting, mid-year, year-end reviews.
- Provide guidance and arrange training programs to teams on best practices.
- Collaborate with department heads to align objectives with business strategy.
- Analyse performance data for trends, promotions and improvements.
Training & Development
- Maintain and update internal databases, including training plans, budgets, and hours.
- Administer HRDF/HRDC training claims and compliance requirements.
- Succession planning. Identify which roles are critical for business continuity (e.g., technical specialist).
- Manage internship programs and spearhead campus recruitment initiatives to build a strong talent pipeline.
Employee Engagement & Events
- Lead company events: annual dinner, townhall, CSR corporate social responsibility activities.
Administrative & Compliance
- Maintain good relations with auditors, HRDC, CIDB, legal practitioners, and government agencies.
- Ensure HR ISO compliance and SOPs documentation.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Head of Department to support organizational objectives.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in HR management or a related field
- Familiar with the Employment Act 1955 and local rulings
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in Chinese is highly preferred as needed to communicate with Chinese counterparts. Multilingual proficiency is an advantage.
