Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an HR & Admin Executive for a management role in a manufacturing setting in Perai. You will manage HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in HR or Business Administration and experience in a factory environment. Knowledge of Malaysian labor laws is essential, and fluency in Malay is required. Overview

Position: HR & Admin Executive (Management Role)

Location: Perai (Manufacturing – Sauce Factory)

Reporting Line
  • Direct report to General Manager (GM)

  • No HR Manager above (independent HR function)

Salary
  • RM5,000 and above (commensurate with experience)

Working Days & Hours
  • Monday – Friday: 8.00am – 5.00pm

  • Saturday: 8.30am – 12.40pm

  • 5.5 working days per week

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage full spectrum of HR & administrative functions

  • Act as HR business partner to GM and management

  • Handle recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and disciplinary matters

  • Manage payroll coordination, statutory compliance, and HR documentation

  • Oversee leave, attendance, manpower planning, and policy implementation

  • Support general administration and office operations

Requirements (Preferred)
  • Experience in manufacturing / factory environment

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour law and statutory requirements

  • Comfortable handling management-level HR matters

  • Malay Speaker only

Education Qualification
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or related discipline

  • Candidates with Diploma in HR / Business are acceptable if supported by strong hands-on HR experience

  • Professional HR certifications (e.g. HRDF-related training, labour law courses) are an added advantage
