A leading industrial services firm in Selangor is looking for an experienced HR professional to oversee a range of HR activities, including payroll, recruitment, and compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in HR, a degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration, and proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. This role demands independence, confidentiality, and the ability to thrive under minimal supervision.
To assist in full spectrum of HR activities, including payroll, recruitment, compensation & benefits, training & development, performance management, general office administration and organise company welfare activities.
Co-ordinate with Superiors, update job descriptions for new positions or job scope changes to existing positions.
Obtain new foreign workers and expatriate application and necessity to related department.
Renew passport/permit of foreign workers and repatriation to origin country.
Attend Labour office/ Immigration, KDN and other government bodies.
Responsible for accurate and timely payroll administration function including record keeping, payroll processing, computation of EPF, SOCSO, PCB, EA Form and Form E. Ensure all statutory deductions are in accordance with the statutory orders and paid within the deadline.
Updating database with the relevant statutory obligations, rules and regulation.
Experience in ISO 9001:2015 Implementing documented processes, conducting internal audits to identify and address gaps, and maintaining the system through continue review and improvement.
Ensure the staff insurances are renewed timely and in accordance to Company’s policy.
Assist Manager in implementing and maintaining of company policies, rules and regulations.
Perform Market benchmarking survey within the prevailing industry/ market and the ethical standards.
To assist in reviewing relevant standard operating procedures (SOP) and recommend for improvement.
Responsible to ensure all HR related documents / records are properly filed and kept, easy for retrieval and traceability.
Develop and maintain programs to foster a desirable corporate culture conducive to continuous improved and accelerate changes within the Company.
Conduct employee relations activities, including conflict resolution.
Degree in Human Resource Management/ Business Administration or its equivalent.
Experience in HR2000 i-Payroll will be an advantage.
At least five years of work experiences in the same capacity, preferably in similar or related industries.
Have good knowledge and experience in local Malaysia Labour Law, Sabah Ordinance and Industrial Law.
Experience in foreign workers recruitment and expatriate application.
Independent and can work with minimum supervision and guidance.
Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking management.
Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
