Job summary

A leading restaurant group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Floor Manager to oversee service operations. This role requires a minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a high-volume dining environment. As a Floor Manager, you will be responsible for supervising staff performance, maintaining high guest service standards, and optimizing reservations. Candidates with a Kerala background and knowledge of service protocols will be preferred. Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the performance of servers, captains, hosts, and support staff
  • Maintain consistent high standards of guest service, including timely resolution of feedback and complaints
  • Optimize table turnover and seating capacity by managing reservations, walk-ins, and guest flow
  • Enforce strict adherence to staff grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment
  • Monitor POS system functionality, billing accuracy, and cash handling procedures
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, health regulations, and Qatar municipality requirements
  • Support management with daily reporting, duty roster planning, and inventory coordination
Requirements
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Floor Manager or Restaurant Supervisor in a high-volume casual or fine‑casual dining environment
  • Prior experience working in Qatar or other GCC countries is highly preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of FOH operations, service protocols, and guest experience management
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and conflict‑resolution skills
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Hindi and Malayalam is an advantage
  • Kerala background preferred.
