Job summary

A leading packaging technology company in Port Klang is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environment Assistant to assist the Safety Officer in ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. You will help maintain safety documentation and reports, monitor work safety, and assist with safety compliance activities. Candidates should have an interest in a safety career and ideally some internship experience in this area. This position is on-site at Pulau Indah, Klang.

Qualifications

• Internship or short working experience in safety, health, or environment is an advantage.
• Strong interest in developing a career in safety and health compliance.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 / OHSAS 18001 standards is an advantage.
• Familiarity with OSHA, DOSH, or country‑specific legislation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Safety Officer in ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Help prepare and maintain safety documentation and reports.
• Ensure safety signages and PPE usage compliance.
• Assist with incident reporting and investigation follow-ups.

Health, Safety, and Environment Assistant

Assist the Safety Officer in ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, and support the implementation of workplace safety programs.

• Help prepare and maintain safety documentation, records, and reports.
• Assist with incident/accident reporting and investigation follow-ups.
• Ensure safety signages, PPE usage, and housekeeping compliance at the workplace.
• Perform any other adhoc duties assigned by the Safety Officer.

Job Requirements:

• Internship or short working experience in safety, health, or environment (EHS/HSE) will be an advantage.
• Strong interest in developing a career in safety and health compliance.
• Good communication and willingness to work under the guidance of a senior Safety Officer.
• Assist in daily safety monitoring, documentation, compliance activities and so on.
• Basic knowledge of occupational safety & health regulations is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 / OHSAS 18001 standards is an advantage.
• Familiar with OSHA, DOSH, or country‑specific legislation is an advantage.
• Able to work in our factory in Pulau Indah, Klang.
