JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategize, manage, implement and monitor compliance management initiatives on the following areas:
- Plan and implement initiatives to ensure organization compliance to the latest internal (EPF Act, Rules & Regulations, Policies) and external regulations (e.g AMLA, PDPA, ISO, Sustainability Governance etc.).
- Manage and ensure all operational processes are conducted in conformity with all external and internal applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Keep abreast of regulatory developments and provide reports to the Management with respect to the requirements and industry initiatives.
- Strategize, manage and monitor operational activities with regards to compliance towards rules & regulations (i.e compliance checklist, compliance review, compliance report, review legal documents) and assess the effectiveness to safeguard organization interests.
- Maintenance of MS ISO9001:2015 certification inclusive of appointment of certification bodies, management review, audit activities and recertification and documentation taskforce.
- Research, strategize, design, implement, test, monitor and report the quality programs implemented.
- Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to achieve desired quality outcome.
- Coordinate the activities required to meet the quality standards set and ensure consistency, and compliance to internal and external requirements.
- Monitoring and advising on the performance of quality management system, producing data and reporting on performance, measuring against set standards.
- Manage internal and external documentation (i.e Operations Manual/Work Procedures/Circulars/Forms/Notices) to ensure updates & adherence towards internal & external regulations/policies.
- Develops communication and education initiatives to increase staff awareness and understanding of compliance roles, functions, and programs within the Operations Division and organisation.
- Manages the EPF Internal Awards, including coordinating the selection of top-performing departments or branches and organizing the annual awards ceremony.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Malaysian citizen
- Pass Malay Language including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree with honours in the field of Law/Accountancy/Business Administration/ Management or equivalent qualifications from local or overseas higher learning institutions recognised by the Malaysian government.
- At least 10 years working experience in compliance/legal/audit/regulatory compliance related role.
- Experience in managing a team on developing and managing compliance monitoring programmes at social security/financial/banking/investment institutions will be an added advantage
- Have sound knowledge and experience of managing organisations compliance towards external regulations
- High integrity with strong analytical, result oriented, process-driven, self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work both independently and as a team member.
- Good interpersonal skills, able to work in a diverse environment and build good working relationships with business partners.
- Good report-writing, communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in both oral and written Malay and English language.
