Job Summary

Lead and scale the talent function across multiple campuses by recruiting, retaining, and developing teachers and staff, implementing HR systems, ensuring compliance, and fostering a high-performing, engaged school culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment of teachers, academic leaders, and admin staff across all campuses.
  • Define campus staffing structures and monitor workforce ratios to support growth.
  • Standardize selection, onboarding, and retention frameworks, including career pathways and stay interviews.
  • Implement performance review and engagement systems, training leaders on feedback and coaching.
  • Localize and execute People & Culture initiatives across campuses, including professional development and policies.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, safeguarding, and accurate HR documentation for audits.
  • Mentor and support campus HR/admin staff on employee relations, payroll, leave, and benefits.
  • Build and maintain teacher and staff talent pipelines locally and internationally.
  • Monitor and improve campus culture health through surveys, KPIs, and action plans.
  • Take on special projects and HR initiatives as assigned by the Director of Programme Management.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Education Management, or related field; HR certifications a plus.
  • 8–10+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in education, multi‑site organizations, or high‑growth environments.
  • Strong experience in teacher recruitment and talent pipeline management.
  • Familiarity with Malaysian Ministry of Education/Ministry of Home Affairs processes preferred.
  • Experience in performance, engagement, and culture frameworks.
  • Comfortable in fast‑moving, startup‑style environments.
  • Excellent communication, judgment, and relationship‑building skills.
