About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Supply Integrated Planning to lead our end-to-end supply chain planning operations across 3 manufacturing sites in Malaysia.

  • This role is critical integration of Supply & Demand Planning, as well as Production Planning Inventory Control (MPS & Inventory Management) operations in which required transformation of work processes along with SAP S/4 HANA implementation to achieve the world class end to end integrated planning.
  • The role is required to lead the S&OP (DR & SR stream) by working cross functionally with other stakeholder in ensuring the rolling 12->18 months plan is established and to manage on risk portfolio. To implement the S&OP Excellence framework and cadence for a consolidated output from S&OP cycle.
  • Collaborate on the process improvement for new product launch for both in-house & OEM SKUs, to accelerate the commercialization process.
  • Subjected to performance and company / function direction, the role may be further elevated / expanded to (ii) Group level beyond Malaysia manufacturing sites, in 12-18 months' time.
Key Responsibilities:-
  • Responsible for end-to-end supply integrated planning: supply/distribution, production, material planning operations to deliver best service, inventory & cost.
  • Establish, improve & sustain daily, weekly, monthly planning excellence in collaboration with Demand Planning, Manufacturing, QA, Procurement, Logistics R&D and other functions.
  • Support and manage new product introduction and discontinuation process with best service/availability, optimal inventory and lowest cost.
  • Monitoring of MY Inventory Management & perform monthly long term Capacity Planning, Jointly coordinate on inventory tracking of all markets with local market SIP.
  • interventions to ensure sufficient resource & capacity across line resources and materials.
  • Enable WHAT IF scenario (business plan, operation, sourcing constraints, etc.) and decision making through facilitation of cost/cash/shipment benefits analysis with multi-functions.
  • Lead and champion Planning/Operation synchronization, simplification, loss elimination, digitization, technology application, systemic fixes, analytics, automation and productivity across Supply Chain (with Logistics, Procurement, Manufacturing).
  • Own Give Gets Process with Multi-functions and Service Level Agreement with International markets.
  • Enable as key Malaysia Leadership Team, Supply Chain & Planning Council and S&OP member to deliver Business Goals via leadership, functional expertise, aligned operating Strategies/choices with multi functions.
  • Develop, engage, deploy and execute Planning & Organization Strategy, Master and Action Plans to deliver Group Supply Chain and Country Strategies and Goals.
  • Lead, Inspire & Build Supply Integrated Planning Organization with Training, Mastery Qualification Path, workshop, coaching, people growth & development plan, career planning and Success Factors engagements.
  • Own S/4 Hana Planning solution (system + workprocess + applications) mastery, adoption, governance and innovation, along with Business Contingency Plan with Process Owners, Key and end users.
  • The duties listed are not exhaustive and may be varied from time to time as dictated by the changing needs of the Business and Organization. The post holder will be expected to undertake other duties as appropriate and as requested by his/her manager.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Health, Safety & Environmental standards.
Key Requirements :-
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Logistics or equivalent.
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years in Supply Chain/Planning leadership.
  • Minimum 10 years in Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP), Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and/or Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
  • At least 3 years as Business Process Owner or key user in SAP ECC or S/4 Hana.
  • Strong track record in service, inventory, cost and productivity improvement.
  • FMCG / Food & Beverage industry experience is an added advantage.
Technical & Functional Skills
  • MRPII, S&OP, Demand Planning, DRP, MPS, MRP.
  • SAP ECC, SAP S/4 Hana, APO and ERP platforms.
  • Digital tools: Power BI, Analytics, Automation, RPA, AI.
  • Strong process improvement and transformation capability.
