Job description

The Company is in search of a Head of Security to spearhead its global security strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing security strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring the continuous improvement of security plans, and integrating security into business continuity planning. This pivotal role also involves leading intelligence gathering and security operations to prevent the loss of company assets, maintaining and enhancing security policies and practices, and coordinating risk and crisis management processes.

The Head of Security will be expected to provide expert guidance, conduct security audits, and lead a team of security professionals while fostering a culture of vigilance and resilience. Applicants for the Head of Security position at the company must have a tertiary qualification in law, security management, or a related field, with a minimum of 15 years' service experience in the Police task force and at least 10 years' in corporate security management. Those still serving in the Police Force must hold the position of Deputy Commissioner of Police or higher.

The role requires a candidate with a strong background in crime investigations, preventive measures, and crisis management, as well as a robust network with law enforcement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in providing strategic security direction, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with international security standards. Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for driving positive change within the organization are also key requirements.
