Responsibilities
  • Working closely with CEO/ management to oversee daily operations of the center.
  • Develop and execute tactical work plans aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Ensure the Nursing Departments are adequately staffed to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Monitor clinical staff performance to ensure compliance with established timelines and standards.
  • Work closely with nursing, Allied Health, and Support Services to provide timely training and corrective actions.
  • Identify staff training and development needs and ensure appropriate programs are implemented.
  • Create and update nursing policies and procedures to maintain operational standards.
  • Ensure a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Foster collaboration among healthcare teams through effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Ensure compliance with governmental healthcare regulations across the nursing unit.
  • Review patient care practices to uphold legal, ethical, and safety standards.
  • Assist in designing, implementing, and evaluating competency programs for nursing staff.
  • Address incident reports, taking appropriate action as needed.
  • Monitor and enhance safety and health protocols.
  • Lead and support nursing staff in providing safe and high-quality patient care.
  • Periodically review and update policies, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
  • Manage and monitor the operating budget and capital expenditures.
  • Promote clear and effective communication within the team.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to address comprehensive patient needs.
  • Encourage participation in community activities and initiatives.
  • Play a pivotal role in disaster preparedness and response, working with Deputy Nurse Managers and other Heads of Departments.
  • Participate in HOD and hospital committee meetings as required.
  • Conduct monthly meetings with Deputy Nurse Managers to ensure workforce effectiveness.
  • Investigate and address incidents, patient complaints, and infection concerns, implementing corrective measures.
  • Oversee recruitment and selection of nursing staff.
  • Support Deputy Nurse Managers in workload distribution and day-to-day operations.
  • Provide guidance on scheduling, patient care management, and addressing special cases.
  • Perform additional duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Management.

Qualifications
