Taylor's Education is building a scalable, multi-campus, affordable schools network under the Lexel International School brand. The Head of Growth builds and runs Myriad’s group admissions operating system and growth engine to deliver predictable, scalable enrolment across Lexel campuses.
This is a group role in a matrix model: the role sets pipeline standards, CRM governance, campaign strategy, training, and reporting while campus teams execute locally, and Principals own parent relationships and school culture. As we scale from our first campus at Gamuda Gardens, to a multi-site network, we are seeking a Head of Growth to lead the full student recruitment funnel and the brand/marketing platform across multiple campuses, ensuring every Lexel school delivers predictable, scalable enrolment growth.
If you thrive in fast-moving environments where building, refining, and scaling systems happen in real time — and you enjoy balancing high-level strategy with hands‑on troubleshooting — this is your role.
Key Expectations
Student Growth
- Own and deliver the annual enrolment and revenue targets for all Lexel campuses.
- Define the standards governing the admissions process, lead management, response SLAs, tour & follow‑up standards, train campus teams, and audit execution quality. This should translate to a conversion playbook, adapted as needed based on the target market (e.g. local vs international students).
- Train and lead campus admissions teams under a matrix model, ensuring consistent execution and strong sales behaviours.
- Build forecasting tools: lead velocity, pipeline quality, conversion ratios, and weekly/monthly pacing reports.
- Drive re‑enrolment and retention strategy for returning families while maintaining that formal parent communications remain with Principals.
- Use HubSpot CRM as the central sales engine—automations, dashboards, activity tracking, and performance transparency.
- Any other special assignment. Take on additional projects or duties as assigned by the Director of Programme Management.
Marketing & Brand Growth
- Lead digital and offline marketing strategies designed to aggressively position Lexel’s value proposition: “Top-tier learning, powered by Taylor’s Education Group, at an accessible price—designed for modern families in thriving townships.”
- Oversee all lead‑generation channels: paid social, SEM/SEO, content marketing, township billboards, events, and community partnerships.
- Manage the full marketing funnel: cost per lead, channel ROI, message testing, conversion uplift.
- Produce the annual marketing calendar including open days, content series, digital campaigns, township activation events, and developer‑linked promotions.
- Ensure strong alignment with Taylor’s Education Group’s brand governance while pushing innovative, locally resonant Lexel messaging.
- Any other special assignment. Take on additional projects or duties as assigned by the Director of Programme Management.
Scholarship Strategy & Pricing Influence
- Develop and execute targeted scholarship strategies that support student recruitment goals while protecting revenue sustainability.
- Partner with finance and the campus leadership to model scholarship scenarios, yield expectations, and net fee impact.
- Position scholarship offerings as part of Lexel’s accessibility promise and competitive differentiation.
Admissions Strategy & Governance
- Create the enrolment strategy for every campus—differentiated by township demographics, competitor landscape, traffic patterns, and pricing constraints.
- Establish admissions SOPs, scripts, campus tour flows, and quality standards for the entire pipeline.
- Use Powerschool Private Enrolment as the central application processing—digital application, activity tracking, and process transparency.
- Lead the training of admissions staff in sales techniques, objection handling, CRM discipline, and data‑driven decision‑making.
- Ensure Ministry of Education admissions documentation and compliance requirements are consistently met across campuses.
- Any other special assignment. Take on additional projects or duties as assigned by the Director of Programme Management.
Matrix Leadership Across Campuses
- Lead campus admissions and marketing coordinators in a matrix structure, ensuring unity of process, data, expectations, and performance.
- Conduct monthly campus pipeline reviews and quarterly performance assessments.
- Support Campus Principals with recruitment‑related analysis and strategy, without taking over their parent communication responsibilities.
Data, Analytics & Reporting
- Maintain a KPI dashboard including:
- Lead volume by channel
- Cost per lead / cost per acquisition
- Tour-to‑offer and offer-to‑enrolment conversion
- Re‑enrolment rate
- Marketing ROI by campus and campaign
- Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership monthly and quarterly.
- Use catchment data and competitor analyses to refine geographic targeting and messaging.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8–12+ years in student recruitment, sales, or marketing roles with proven success in high‑volume enrolment or customer acquisition.
- Experience in international schools, higher education, or multi‑site consumer services strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to scale admissions operations from zero to several hundred students.
- Expertise in digital marketing, performance metrics, and CRM systems (HubSpot preferred).
- Able to operate in a fast‑paced, startup environment within a sophisticated schooling ecosystem.
- Strong data literacy and a commercial mindset.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
