Responsibilities
  • Being a leader to give direction to HR teams in Malaysia to ensure good communication among them.
  • Acting as an active leader to spread positive influence on stakeholders, towards a dynamic and transparent working environment.
  • Partnering with top management and business managers of the operations to support workforce planning, organization design and the efficient deployment of people.
  • Managing an effective budget and cost control on human resources expenses.
  • Providing coaching and counseling to the HR team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Play the leading role in supportive activities to companies for day‑to‑day administration of policies and programs covering all HR functions including:
    • Organizational Development
    • Talent Management and succession planning
    • Learning and Development
    • Performance Management
    • Recruitment and Selection
    • Compensation and Benefits
    • Employee Relations and Disciplinary Management
    • Compliance with laws & regulations
    • Relationship with local authorities
    • Reporting
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 15 years in the HR functions in MNC companies, preferably in services
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Good at managing stakeholders' expectations and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Operated in a matrix / multi-cultural environment.
  • Pleasant but business‑like personality
  • Strong management, motivation and organization skills
  • Good knowledge of local Labor Code as well as other labor rules
Technical Skills
  • Fluent in reading, writing & speaking English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Good command of office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Can work independently under pressure.
