SIRIM Academy Sdn Bhd (subsidiary of SIRIM Berhad) is currently seeking an experienced Head of Finance & Administration to be part of our dynamic team based in Shah Alam, Selangor. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, budgeting and administration functions to ensure the efficient and effective management of the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead, plan, develop and monitor financial management system, procedures and internal control, maintain financial accounts, management accounts, treasury function, company budgeting and statutory requirements and cost optimization including comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
2. Provide leadership and supervision of the administration function with a strong focus on strategic procurement covering sourcing strategy, supplier performance, contract management and value-for-money initiatives, while ensuring efficient and well-controlled operations for procurement of supplies, works, services and general administration of SIRIM Academy.
3. Provide leadership and guidance to develop, enforce, maintain policy, procedures and systems for the department in order to strengthen integrity and governance, quality, OSH, environmental and business performance.
4. Drive, demonstrate and cultivate behaviors which reflect accountability in working environment for the success of SIRIM Cultural Beliefs amongst subordinates or team members to build sustainable high-performance team.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or others equivalent disciplines. Candidates with postgraduate/professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
2. 12 years of working experience in a related field and minimum 5 years in a managerial position is an added advantage.
3. In-depth knowledge of products & services offered by the company and understanding the industrial trend in terms of training and consultation.
4. Excellent in organizational and planning skills with strong ability in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
5. Possess innovative mindset and ability to align technology initiatives with strategic business objectives.
