A leading financial institution in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Head of Enterprise Architecture to oversee technology strategy and architecture. You will lead a team, aligning technology with business goals and driving digital transformation while ensuring compliance and risk management. The ideal candidate has at least 10 years in enterprise architecture, including 5 years in leadership within the banking industry, and strong certification is preferred. As the Head of Enterprise Architecture (EA) at Hong Leong Bank Berhad, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our technology and architecture strategy to ensure the highest levels of efficiency, security, and innovation. You will be responsible for aligning technology solutions with the business objectives of the bank, driving digital transformation, and leading a team of skilled architects.
Strategic Planning: Develop and communicate the bank's technology strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of architects and business analysts, fostering collaboration and innovation within the department.
Architecture Governance: Manage the architecture governance processes to ensure technology solutions adhere to defined standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Solution Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and design innovative technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and security.
Technology Evaluation: Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, assessing their potential to improve the bank's architecture and processes.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technology-related risks and ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data protection regulations.
Budget Management: Manage the EA department budget, optimizing resource allocation and cost-effective technology solutions.
Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate technology strategies, progress, and challenges to senior leadership and other relevant stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the Banking industry.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful technology strategies.
Strong knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements in Banking.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Relevant certifications such as TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) are a plus.
