A creative design company in Malacca is looking for a talented Graphic Designer to lead digital and print campaigns. The role involves crafting unique designs, operating digital printing machines, and maintaining website graphics. The ideal candidate should possess at least 3 years of experience, a strong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, and excellent organizational skills. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a dynamic marketing team to enhance the brand's global presence.
We're looking for a deeply creative and original digital graphic designer. Someone to take all the Adobe Creative Cloud suite and combine it to a beautiful and unique effect for our brand. Reporting directly to our Director you will work collaboratively with the wider marketing team to build on the success of our brand to further support our position in the global market. Our ideal candidate will be able to take direction and work independently, have a creative flair with an excellent eye for detail, and be a visionary thinker.
You will play an important role in:
Designing high-quality and creative campaigns from concept to execution across multiple platforms including print and digital POS assets, signage, web, eDM, and social assets as well as packaging for our products
Operating machines such as digital printers, plotters, and other machines.
Working with external photographers and stylists for campaign shoots
Creating digital and print artwork ensuring our brand and style guidelines are met.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to design and deliver impactful, creative solutions that deliver marketing objectives.
Maintain a business mindset in decision-making and assist in guiding the junior design team on daily tasks.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage the workflow and juggle priorities from time to time.
Maintenance and management of the website concerning the update of graphics, content, product pages, categories, and featured products.
Ensure consistency of visual and brand content across all channels
Execute efficient and quality graphic design including print and digital sales and advertising materials, marketing and social media collateral, and internal company collateral.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
Appropriate tertiary qualifications with design certs and at least 3 years’ industry experience. An understanding of, or experience in the Digital offset Printing/ Websites/Apparel sector is desirable.
Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite design software, and Microsoft Office suite.
Advanced skills in managing social media applications such as Facebook and Instagram
Experience designing assets for desktop and mobile websites.
Experience developing designs including long-form publications, brochures, posters, and advertising collateral, with creative flair.
Strong interest in current design trends and print technology.
Strong pre-press knowledge and print proofing skills.
Demonstrated initiative and attention to detail.
Highly developed organization and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
Organized, thorough, accurate, and eye for detail.
The ability to solve problems independently.
