Job description
Job Overview

Unlike a traditional design role, the Visual Design Strategist position at Xilnex is both challenging and exciting — a place where creativity meets purpose.

You’ll be part of the Xilnex Experience Team, a multidisciplinary group passionate about delivering meaningful experiences through design that not only looks good but feels right.
This role is perfect for someone who wants to grow beyond being “just a designer” — someone eager to explore how design can drive emotion, perception, and impact at scale. You’ll experiment, create, and refine visuals that define how people experience our brand — from the smallest icon to the most ambitious campaign.

Every project here is a learning journey. You’ll get to stretch your creativity across graphics, motion, and storytelling, explore new tools and techniques, and work with other creative thinkers who challenge norms and raise the bar every day. If you love the idea of crafting design with intent — not just making things look beautiful, but making them matter — this is the playground for you.

Job Scope

Conceptualise and produce striking visuals across multiple mediums — including marketing campaigns, digital ads, product visuals, social media content, presentations, company culture materials as well as videos.

Lead art direction for key visuals, branding materials, and motion storytelling pieces.

Manage the full creative cycle — from ideation, moodboarding, and sketching to execution and delivery.

Translate business and product objectives into powerful visual narratives that resonate with customers and partners.

Develop design frameworks and visual principles that align with brand strategy and marketing goals.

Analyze creative performance metrics (e.g., engagement, conversion, shareability) and iterate designs based on insights.

Partner with the Experience and Marketing leads to align creative concepts with key initiatives and campaign timelines.

Advocate for design as a driver of brand differentiation and product trust.

Present creative concepts and visual directions with clarity — connecting artistic decisions to strategic intent.

Support design reviews, campaign brainstorming, and cross-team creative sessions.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, or a related field.

2 years of experience in design — with a strong portfolio demonstrating work in branding, motion design, and campaign storytelling.

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere) and comfort with Figma for design collaboration.

Strong command of composition, typography, color theory, and motion principles.

Experience with video editing and short-form animation (CapCut, After Effects, or equivalent).

Excellent sense of storytelling and rhythm — able to turn data or ideas into visually engaging narratives.

Deep understanding of brand systems, creative direction, and how design influences perception and behavior.

Strong communication and presentation skills — able to articulate creative rationale and influence stakeholders.

Bonus: Familiarity with Webflow, Framer, html/css for digital adaptation and rapid prototyping.

Bonus: Experience in tech or SaaS branding environments is an advantage.
