Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Graduate Environmental Engineer to join their team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering or Environmental Science, along with strong analytical skills and programming knowledge (VBA, Python). Responsibilities include supporting project coordination and conducting environmental analyses, with an emphasis on personal initiative and commitment to HSES standards.

About the Job

We are currently seeking a Graduate Environmental Engineer to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

To support the Genesis team in providing services including, but not limited to the following:

  • Support project coordination and client interfaces
  • Preparation of environmental baselines for offshore and onshore areas
  • Identification and interpretation of relevant regulations and standards
  • Environmental-related analysis such as EIAs, EMPs, Environmental Risk Assessments
  • Engineering Studies and Decommissioning Studies
  • Support flow assurance-related analysis such as steady state and transient hydraulic analysis
Main Accountabilities
  • Assisting with preparation of technical deliverables (calculations, drawings, simulations, reports)
About You
  • Degree holder in engineering and/or Environmental Science
  • 1 year experience in environment and/or engineering preferable
  • Demonstrates strong analytical/problem solving skills
  • An outgoing, proactive, positive, can do attitude
  • Commitment to development of our engineering staff and services offering
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong commitment to HSES
  • Ability to take initiative and be flexible
  • Understanding of Genesis services, business model & commercials
  • Ideal candidate would also have programming experience i.e. working knowledge of VBA, Python
