Job summary

A logistics company in Malaysia is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to manage import and export activities, coordinate with freight forwarders, and ensure customer satisfaction. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain or logistics, preferably within a chemical or manufacturing environment. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong knowledge in customs clearance, freight coordination, and possess excellent problem-solving skills. The role includes various duties to support operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in Supply Chain or Logistics, preferably in a chemical, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.
• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and customs clearance.
• Experience in customer service or stakeholder management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all import and export activities including shipment scheduling.
• Coordinate air and sea shipments with freight forwarders.
• Act as a primary contact for customer inquiries regarding shipments.
• Process material requests and support inventory planning.
• Handle logistics billing and shipping documents while providing updates.
