Job summary

A leading automation solutions provider in Malaysia is seeking a technical support engineer to provide on-site software installation and troubleshooting for customers. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, with at least 2 years of experience preferred. Strong troubleshooting skills in software and hardware are essential, along with excellent customer service abilities. Travel may be required for customer support. Qualifications

  • Fresh grad or minimum 2 years experience in a related field.
  • Experience in software testing and maintenance.
  • Strong software troubleshooting skills in Windows and Linux environments.
  • Knowledge of SECS/GEM and SEMI standards is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site software installation and technical support.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware/wiring and software problems.
  • Communicate technical solutions clearly.
  • Provide training and guidance on issue resolution.
  • Maintain user/training and troubleshooting manuals.
  • Travel to customer sites for technical support.
