Job summary

A leading travel agency in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a responsible professional to manage Monthly Sales Targets and oversee the Sales and Marketing team. Key responsibilities include approving payments and leave applications, ensuring timely quotes, and maintaining close relationships with agents and suppliers. Experience in the travel industry is advantageous for candidates looking to excel in this challenging role. This position is essential for maintaining the overall sales strategy and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a travel and tours agency is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsible for Monthly Sales Target / Revenue.
  • Oversee Sales / Marketing Team & Operations.
  • Monthly Sales Report to CEO.
  • Attend Quarterly ASB Risk Management & Finance Meeting together with CEO / Finance Manager.
  • Approve all Exchange Orders (EO) payment to our suppliers.
  • Approve Staff Leave Application.
  • Approve Staff Sick Leave & Medical Claims.
  • Ensure OP Staff do weekly backup Data on our Server.
  • Approve Staff Annual Leave application.
  • Periodic checks on Transport Suppliers / Tour Guides – to maintain ST’s service standards.
  • To seek other suppliers that can offer better services to our clients.
  • Continue close rapport with Hotels Sales Teams – to get better rates.
  • Ensure all quotes are send out on time by Staff.
  • Maintain close rapport with our top producing agents.
  • Continue to seek new potential overseas agents selling Malaysia as one of their products.
  • Maintain our weekly sales & OP Meetings – every Friday.
  • Maintain our Quarterly Staff meetings.
  • Any other tasks assign by the management.
