General Manager (Beauty & Cosmetics retail)

My client is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the company's Malaysia and Singapore operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for full P&L ownership and for driving aggressive growth in a competitive market. You will lead the local commercial and operational teams, including sales operations, marketing, category management, IT, human resources & administration and warehouse. The core mandate is to build on current success, win market share, and scale the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the complete Malaysia & Singapore P&L, managing budgets and forecasts in collaboration with Finance and HQ.
• Partner closely with HQ and brand principals to ensure alignment with the overall brand vision and strategies.
• Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive topline and bottomline growth across all channels.
• Lead Annual Business Planning with retailers and ensure excellence in all in-store execution.
• Build, lead, and mentor the local team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on clear goals and execution.
• Analyze market trends and competitor movements to develop strategies for winning market share.
• Identify new growth levers and whitespace opportunities in relevant beauty categories.

Requirements
