Job Description

This Gen AI Lead position demands a visionary and experienced leader capable of spearheading the strategy, development, and deployment of Generative AI (GenAI) initiatives across an entire region. The Lead will drive innovation, foster collaboration, and ensure that AI solutions deliver tangible business value in alignment with regional and global objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive Generative AI strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives and market trends for the region.
• Lead the identification and prioritization of AI-powered business opportunities, focusing on high-impact use cases across various functions like sales, marketing, supply chain, insights, and reporting.
• Translate business requirements into scalable architectural designs for Generative AI models, frameworks, and solutions.
• Build and manage high-performing GenAI teams, providing technical leadership, mentorship, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Manage the full lifecycle of the GenAI platform, from ideation to deployment and optimization.
• Act as a Generative AI advocate, communicating the strategic value of GenAI to senior executives and stakeholders while aligning solutions with enterprise standards for responsible AI, data privacy, and compliance.
• Define and AI governance, ethical AI use, and compliance with data privacy regulations within the region.
• Identify, establish, and manage strategic partnerships with technology providers, research institutions, and other organizations to expand the GenAI platform's capabilities.
• Represent the organization in the AI landscape, staying updated on the latest advancements and shaping the future of AI within the industry.

Key Qualifications

• Having total experience of more than 18 years in IT industry.
• Deep expertise in Generative AI, foundational models like LLMs, and frameworks such as LangChain, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) are crucial, as is a deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and data processing.
• Proven experience in designing scalable and secure Generative AI solutions and a solid understanding of MLOps principles and ethical AI frameworks.
• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the region.
• Experience with multi-modal AI models, prompt engineering, or integrating agentic AI in the software development process is a plus.
• Proven track record of successful change management, stakeholder engagement, and implementing large‑scale strategic programs across diverse geographies.
• Experience and exposure across tools in the data domain for ETL, reporting, data governance, data transformation, data security as well as hands‑on experience working on databases, data warehouses and data lakes.
