Job summary

A prominent landscaping company in Genting Highlands is looking for a dedicated individual to oversee and manage landscaping and nursery upkeep. In this role, you will plan, assign and supervise tasks related to grass cutting, planting, and pest control while leading a team of workers. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of supervisory experience in landscaping or horticulture. Effective communication skills in Bahasa Melayu or English are essential, along with a strong leadership ability.

Job description

• Plan, assign and oversee daily landscape and nursery upkeep tasks such as grass cutting, pruning, planting, irrigation and pest control.
• Supervise and coordinate a team of local and foreign workers, ensuring tasks are carried out efficiently and in accordance with schedules.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress and ensure landscaping quality meets company and client standards.
• Ensure proper usage and maintenance of landscaping tools, machinery and materials.
• Maintain attendance records, work reports and site documentation.
• Report any issues, irregularities or performance concerns related to outsourced teams to the Landscape Executive.
• Ensure that all gardening work complies with company policies, environmental practices, and workplace safety regulations.
• Perform basic hands‑on gardening work when needed to support the team.

Requirements

• Prior working experience (2 years & above) in a supervisory role in related fields (Landscaping, Horticulture, Agriculture or Nursery background preferably).
• Ability to communicate in Bahasa Melayu or English.
• Strong leadership, team management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of handling plants, gardening tools and equipment.
• Basic computer literacy (e.g., using mobile apps or Excel for reporting) is preferred.
• Possession of a valid Goods Driving License is an advantage.
