Job summary

A leading furniture design company in Negeri Sembilan is seeking a creative individual to supply, design, and manufacture retail outlet furniture and fixtures. This role includes managing industrial production processes while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates should have at least a Diploma or Degree in Furniture Design or Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field. Proficiency in furniture design software and strong communication skills in English and Mandarin are essential. Willingness to travel is required.

The Job

Supply, design, manufacture retail outlets furniture, fixtures, store fittings, shelving system, display units to global retail customers

Liaise with global clients for conceptualization, design, manufacturing with optimal cost, aesthetics, performance, and safety requirements

Incorporate latest international design trend, "look and feel" to all in-store fittings to enhance retail outlets appeal

Responsibilities

• Prepare design and planning, detailed design, and engineering documentation.
• Manage, supervise, and control technical aspects of industrial production processes.
• Design all furniture, fixtures, store fittings, shelving systems, and display units in flat-pack complete knock-down format.
• Ensure compliance with global safety and hygiene standards.
• Monitor and track job costs while optimizing workflow and minimizing raw.
• Maintain continuous feedback and effective communication with clients.

Requirements

• Possesses at least a Diploma or Degree in Furniture Design / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in furniture design.
• Proficient in furniture design software (knowledge of Mandarin-based software is required).
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Willingness to travel as required.
