As part of AL Maritime, Cryogenic Tank Services (CTS) is a Malaysian entity acquired in 2015. CTS specializes in cryogenic tank and equipment rental for the offshore and maritime industries, as well as cryogenic transport of molecules, and provides a full range of repair and testing services.

Your Core Mission

Strategic Leadership: Define and implement the end‑to‑end sourcing strategy in collaboration with global and regional industrial direction and procurement teams.

Sourcing Excellence: Build a high‑performance sourcing model for molecules and sea/road freight, ensuring safety, quality, and cost‑competitiveness.

Process Ownership: Lead the full procurement lifecycle—from supplier selection and qualification to contract negotiation and performance monitoring.

Stakeholder Synergy: Act as the strategic bridge between Malaysian operations and global clusters to align on long‑term supply chain goals.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sourcing: Map resource needs, manage RFQs, and negotiate high‑value contracts for molecules and transportation.
  • Operational Optimization: Identify optimized routes and digitalise costing tools to improve decision‑making and customer delivery.
  • Performance & Efficiency: Drive cost‑reduction initiatives and report on procurement efficiencies to boost the Business Unit’s financial performance.
  • Risk Management: Conduct market intelligence to mitigate shipping volatility and ensure business continuity.
Key Connector Responsibilities
  • Local: Collaborate with Sales and Operations to align sourcing with commercial and operation needs.
  • Global: Act as the primary link for Air Liquide Global, Maritime & APAC Procurement to sync local operations with global strategy.
  • External: Manage relationships with freight providers (sea, road, rail) and molecule suppliers to drive performance.
Who Are You?
  • Technical Core: You have a solid foundation (5+ years) in procurement or supply chain. We value your technical curiosity and your ability to quickly master the complexities of molecule and freight markets.
  • Reliable & Hands‑on: You are a dependable partner who isn’t afraid to "get your hands dirty." You take ownership of finding the best route solutions by working closely with partners on the ground to solve real‑world logistics challenges. You act as a strategic problem‑solver and enjoy diving into cost analysis to uncover competitive advantages that others might miss.
  • Adaptable & People‑Focused: You are great at building trust and getting things done across different cultures and departments. You stay motivated in fast‑paced environments and know how to lead and influence others, even when you aren’t their direct manager.
