Job summary

A food technology company in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Senior Executive, Food Regulatory for a contract position. The successful candidate will manage food regulatory compliance, keep updated on local and international regulations, and support the QA Management in various tasks. A Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, or Dietetics is required, along with good communication skills in both English and Malay. The role also involves management of food legal audits and internal systems related to product compliance.

Qualifications

• Candidate should possess a Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Food Technology / Nutrition / Dietetics.
• Preferably at least 2 years of related working experience.
• Preferably Executive specializing in Legal / Public / Security or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage information for customers' requests before submitting to the QA Manager for approval.
• Carry out research on regulatory requirements for domestic and export countries.
• Maintain information database on ingredients and products.
• Keep in close contact with regulatory updates in Malaysia and other countries.
• Review and ensure compliance of products, packaging labeling to regulations.
• Support the QA Manager in dealings with government bodies.
• Attend external meetings related to food regulations and update management.
• Manage internal food legal audit and prepare summary report for management.
