Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial/account records by entering and updating data into EFM system.
- Process and reconcile invoices, payment voucher, and receipts.
- Record accounts payable or accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist in preparing financial/account reports that requested and other reports required by superior and management.
- Help with month-end and year-end financial closing activities make sure account close before 15th of the month.
- Follow up for supplier invoices, check and verify ensure invoice billed according to their quotation before 10th of the month.
- Check, verify supplier invoice and enter to EFM system before 10th of the month.
- Ensure AR invoice raise for all the shipments before 10th of the month.
- Verify and analyse shipment that making loses after all the AP invoice raise and AR cost received and entered to EFM.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for and recorded in EFM system as well as manual report.
- Follow up for SOA from supplier and match with the record in EFM, then process payments to suppliers 20th of the month.
- Provide administrative support, such as filing, answering phone calls, and responding to financial inquiries without delay.
- Ensure financial documents are stored securely and organized for easy retrieval.
- Ad-hoc assignments delegated by superiors and management.
Experience & Skills
Previous experience as an Account Assistant or in a similar accounting role is preferred.
- Strong MS Excel skills for financial reporting and analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality of financial and company information.
- Analytical Skills: ability to analyse financial data and provide insights where needed.
