Job summary

A leading agricultural company in Malaysia seeks a Financial Controller to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure targets set by management are met. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Finance & Accounting and over 10 years of experience in managing finance departments. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in the palm oil industry are preferred. This position is based in Hutan Melintang, Perak.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance & Accounting with professional membership (CPA/ACCA/CIMA/MIA/ICAEW).
• At least 10 years of experience managing Accounts or Finance department.
• Experience in the palm oil industry is preferred.

Responsible for managing overall daily accounting operations, and ensuring targeted output and plans are achieved as set by the management, in line with the Company’s policies under the mentorship of the Head of the Department.

Job requirements:

Degree in Finance & Accounting with professional membership (CPA/ACCA/CIMA/MIA/ICAEW).

At least 10 years of experience managing Accounts or Finance department.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in managing financial transactions.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Good time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Strong communication and negotiation skills for handling customers and suppliers relations.
