Job Description

Your job duties will include;



R2R Process Ownership

• 
  
  Lead end-to-end Record to Report activities including general ledger, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and financial close processes
• 
  
  Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
• 
  
  Oversee journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting compliance

SAP S/4HANA Expertise

• 
  
  Utilize deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC FI to enhance and optimize R2R workflows
• 
  
  Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement of finance processes through SAP tools
• 
  
  Collaborate closely with IT and transformation teams on system enhancements and troubleshooting

Compliance & Controls

• 
  
  Ensure compliance with internal controls, IFRS standards, and corporate accounting policies
• 
  
  Support internal and external audits with thorough documentation and timely responses

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

• 
  
  Manage, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals, both onshore and offshore
• 
  
  Serve as the main liaison between finance, business units, and shared service centers
• 
  
  Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Strategic Initiatives

• 
  
  Lead or participate in finance transformation projects including process redesign and system integration
• 
  
  Monitor and drive key performance indicators such as close cycle time, automation rates, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, reporting, and compliance.
• Experience in the business services industry is an advantage.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
