Financial Controller/ Finance Director (Manufacturing, Johor)

Manage the full accounting cycle including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, fixed assets and inventory.

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, budgets, forecasts and other reports for management and external stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations and internal control policies.

Oversee the finance team and provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.

Analyze financial data to identify trends, optimize processes and recommend strategic improvements.

Partner with department heads to provide insightful financial advice and support business decision-making.

Liaise with auditors, bankers and other external parties as required.

Ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or CPA) with strong technical accounting and tax knowledge.

At least 8‑12 years of accounting experience, ideally in the manufacturing sector.

Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.

Experience in leading and developing a high‑performing finance team.

Strong commercial acumen and ability to provide strategic business insights.
