Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and related reports for a public listed company in accordance with local accounting standards and Bursa Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), for management review and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate and respond to audit requests, including the preparation and submission of supporting documentation.
  • Monitor lease arrangements to ensure compliance with MFRS 16 and manage monthly lease accounting entries.
  • Prepare monthly provisional tax computations and submit tax-related manual journal entries in SAP.
  • Prepare statements of cash flows and compute deferred income tax balances.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly Bursa Malaysia reporting.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements and supporting workings.
  • Provide analytical commentary on movements in Statement of Financial Position items.
  • Liaise and collaborate with various business units to support financial reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Accounting / Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, MICPA, others)
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in accounting and auditing. However, fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong conceptual skills for looking forward and appreciating business processes and systems
  • Strong in statistical and financial analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in SAP application is an added advantage
