Responsibilities
  • Manage the accurate and timely processing of finance master data changes (creation, amendments, deactivations) in line with defined service levels and governance controls.
  • Perform validations and quality checks to ensure compliance with global finance data standards, reporting frameworks, and data governance policies.
  • Understand how financial data is used across the business and align business requirements with system data structures and end-to-end master data landscapes.
  • Partner with data quality and governance teams to define data quality rules, execute validation scenarios, and support continuous data improvement initiatives.
  • Support finance data projects, system deployments, data migrations, and integration activities, including issue resolution and data remediation.
  • Review and approve updates to financial data structures, hierarchies, and mapping tables.
  • Provide operational support during critical reporting periods (e.g. month-end close) to enable timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Build strong working relationships with business users, super users, and technical support teams to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Educate business stakeholders on master data processes, governance principles, and request procedures.
  • Monitor controls to prevent unauthorised changes to finance master data.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and control enhancements within finance data operations.
  • Support change management activities for new processes, systems, and data frameworks.
  • Maintain and update relevant policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Support internal and external audit queries and participate in ad-hoc projects as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline.
  • Professional accounting qualification is an advantage.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting, finance data management, or finance systems environments.
  • Strong experience with ERP finance systems (e.g. SAP FI/CO or equivalent).
  • Exposure to finance master data governance, data structures, and financial mapping frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and control mindset.
