Job Description:

• Manage, oversee, and to ensure effective daily operations of the accounting department which shall include but not limit to:
• month end, quarter end and year end accounts reporting
• accounts payable/receivable
• general ledger
• payroll and utilities
• budgeting and forecast monitoring
• reporting
• cash flow
• ensuring correct stock balance records and monitoring stock levels
• revenue and expenditure variance analysis
• balance sheet reconciliations
• Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support company objectives.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and address any findings.
• Supervise and mentor finance team.
• Ensure the team adheres to financial policies and procedures.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Monitor financial transactions and identify and address any discrepancies.
• Support strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and analysis.
• Communicate financial information and performance to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and projects.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma / Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, especially in Mandarin.
  
• 5 years and above of experience in financial & accounting field or a similar role, experience in manufacturing is advantage.
  
• Proven experience in team management.
  
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
  
• Proficiency in accounting software, familiar with SAP / Oracle / ERP systems is advantage.
