Job Summary

They are seeking a highly capable Finance Manager to oversee the companys finance operations and financial reporting functions. This role reports directly to the CFO and is critical to ensuring robust financial governance, accurate reporting, and efficient operations across all projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Finance Operations

  • Manage daily finance operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, treasury, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate project cost allocation, track work progress, and monitor project budgets.
  • Oversee cash flow management, forecast funding requirements, and ensure timely payments to support ongoing projects.
  • Maintain and continuously improve internal controls and finance processes to safeguard company assets.

2. Financial Reporting

  • Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, statutory regulations, and internal reporting requirements.
  • Provide insightful analysis of financial performance, project profitability, and cost variances to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with external and internal auditors to ensure smooth audit execution and implement audit recommendations.

4. Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure adherence to all statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and monitor financial policies and internal controls.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, reporting, and operational efficiency.

5. Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to the team.
  • Establish clear objectives, provide guidance, and foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with project, procurement, and operations teams to align financial processes with project goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of finance or accounting experience, with exposure to project-based industries such as construction or engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, project accounting, cost control, and audit processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing multiple team members.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
