Job summary

A financial consultancy firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Finance Manager / Senior Finance Manager to lead the finance team and ensure the financial health of the organization. Responsibilities include overseeing financial reporting, analysis, and compliance with regulations, as well as managing a portfolio of investment properties. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accountancy and at least 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in a management role. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

  • Experience with software & data migration preferred.

Job description

The Finance Manager / Senior Finance Manager is responsible for leading the finance team and managing the financial health of the organization. This role involves overseeing financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with regulations, and providing financial strategy to support the company's business.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead a full spectrum of financial reporting and accounting operations
  • Ensure timely and accurate analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts as well as to provide financial insights to support strategic decision making
  • Monitor, and manage budgets and cashflow to ensure financial health.
  • Enhance and reinforce internal controls, financial policies and procedures to cope with business changes
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • To manage a portfolio of investment properties.
  • To liaise with bankers on the opening of bank accounts, monitoring bank loans & banking facilities, and explore relevant investment products
  • Manage the Group’s tax planning, statutory submissions, and audits; optimise its tax position
  • Other financial projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in accounting, audit or finance function, at least 2 years in management reporting role.
  • Excellent analytical, meticulous and strong communicator.
  • Solid accounting, internal control skills, audit and tax knowledge
  • Good flair in English.
  • Able to work under pressure and tight timelines
  • Experience handling software & data migration is preferred

Working hour: Monday to Friday 9AM TO 6PM
