Finance Manager (Retail Financial Services)

We are representing our client a well‑established and fast‑growing listed group within the financial services/consumer finance sector, operating a nationwide network of outlets across Malaysia. As part of its next phase of growth, the company is looking for a Finance Manager to join a growing listed group’s leadership team. This role is designed for a finance professional with strong commercial acumen and the ambition to progress into a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role.

This is not a back‑office finance role. You will work closely with the Group CEO, including regular outstation visits to business outlets, to understand operations inside‑out and translate operational realities into financial strategy and decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead group budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and performance analysis
  • Act as a key finance partner to the Group CEO on strategic and operational matters
  • Participate in outlet / business unit visits to understand revenue drivers, cost structures, margins and operational risk
  • Oversee group financial reporting in compliance with Bursa Malaysia listing requirements and regulatory standards
  • Coordinate quarterly and annual announcements, financial statements, and disclosures to Bursa Malaysia
  • Liaise with auditors, company secretaries, regulators and external advisers
  • Support audit processes, internal controls and corporate governance frameworks
  • Drive financial discipline, cash flow management and commercial decision‑making across the group
  • Mentor, lead and develop finance team members
Requirements
