The Finance Manager will oversee and manage all financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and effective financial reporting. This role requires strong expertise in accounting and finance within the manufacturing sector.

Description

• Possess strong technical expertise in managing group consolidation accounts for a publicly listed company.
• Conduct detailed financial analyses and prepare insightful commentary on business unit and Group performance.
• Manage taxation, banking matters, and cash flow planning, including forecasting and financial reporting.
• Prepare and monitor the Group's annual budgets - P&L, cash flow projections, and balance sheet supported by variance analysis and commentary.
• Prepare financial analyses and develop EXCO/Board papers with key findings and strategic recommendations.
• Support the preparation of Group-level financial reports and analyses as required.
• Enhance financial reporting formats and systems; identify gaps, standardise processes, and develop policies and automation to improve finance operations.
• Ensure full compliance with MFRS, Bursa Listing Requirements, and statutory regulations, while coordinating with auditors, tax consultants, regulators, bankers, company secretary, and legal advisors on relevant matters, including ad‑hoc assignments.

Profile

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience including at least 5 years in managerial or leadership capacity.
• Preferably with experience working in private limited company or Big Four audit firm
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Experience in the industrial/manufacturing industry is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
