Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning and Analysis

Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with department heads.

Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support decision-making and business growth.

2. Reporting and Compliance

Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.

Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, standards, and reporting requirements (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).

Coordinate audits and manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory authorities.

3. Cash Flow and Treasury Management

Oversee cash flow management to ensure the organization meets its financial obligations.

Optimize the use of financial resources to maintain liquidity and support strategic investments.

Manage banking relationships and negotiate favourable terms for financing or credit facilities.

4. Team Leadership and Development

Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering professional development and ensuring high performance.

Delegate tasks effectively and ensure timely completion of financial processes and reporting.

Promote a collaborative and efficient work environment within the finance department.

5. Risk Management and Internal Controls

Identify financial risks and implement measures to mitigate them.

Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial processes.

Review and improve financial policies and procedures regularly.

6. Strategic Support

Partner with senior leadership to align financial strategies with business goals.

Contribute to strategic initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, and expansions through financial analysis and due diligence.

Support investment and funding decisions by evaluating financial feasibility and ROI.

7. Cost Management and Efficiency

Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Develop strategies to reduce financial waste and optimize resource allocation.

Track and analyze key financial metrics, such as profit margins and cost ratios.

8. Others

Other ad hoc tasks as may be assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree (e.g., MBA) or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, ACCA) is highly preferred.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or a related role.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Knowledge of consol accounting is required.

Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non‑financial stakeholders.

High level of integrity and attention to detail.
