Job summary

A multinational finance firm in Selangor is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to establish a Finance Shared Service Center. The successful candidate will lead the Group Consolidation function, develop IFRS-compliant reporting frameworks, and manage the monthly consolidation processes for multiple entities. With over 5 years of experience required, including expertise in consolidation and internal controls, the role promises significant influence and strategic input within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a Big 4 or medium-sized audit firm is an added advantage.

Job description

We are establishing a new Finance Shared Service Center (SSC) and are looking for an exceptional Finance Manager to play a key role in the setup of the Group Consolidation function and design our IFRS-compliant reporting package. This is a high-impact, strategic role working directly with the Project Team and Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the setup and operationalisation of the Group Consolidation function within the new SSC.
  • Develop and implement IFRS-compliant consolidation packages, SOPs, and governance frameworks.
  • Drive monthly group consolidation for multi-entity, multi-country operations.
  • Oversee data quality, master data governance, and chart of accounts standardization.
  • Lead SSC setup activities including process standardization, internal controls, automation, and system integration.
  • Prepare dashboards and insights for the CEO and Board.
  • Work with auditors on consolidation, technical accounting, and SSC process controls.
  • Train and guide finance teams across the Group on new processes and reporting requirements.
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance + Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, MIA).
  • At least 5 years’ experience, including 3+ years in group consolidation for multi-entity groups.
  • Experience in a Big 4 or medium-sized audit firm is an added advantage.
  • Hands‑on experience implementing consolidation packages or SSC setup.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/MFRS, internal controls, and group reporting.
  • Experience with consolidation systems (SAP BPC, Hyperion, OneStream, etc.).
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, transformation environment.
