A leading financial services firm in Petaling Jaya is seeking an experienced Finance Manager fluent in Mandarin to lead corporate finance initiatives and stakeholder compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance and investment banking, proficient in financial modeling, and possess excellent communication and analytical skills. This role focuses on managing financial operations, developing business cases, and supporting team development. Candidates should have at least 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Lead the preparation of materials for corporate exercises including M&As, JVs, rights issuances, and other equity financing initiatives.
Develop and recommend capital structures aligned with business needs, risk management, taxation, accounting, and legal requirements.
Oversee the preparation of documentation, information memoranda, business plans, and pitch materials.
Drive strategic planning, budgeting processes, and assessments for new business opportunities.
Lead the development and review of financial models and financial analyses.
Maintain and enhance relationships with investors, financial institutions, and key stakeholders.
Liaise with the legal team to ensure all corporate finance transactions comply with relevant legislation and regulations.
Coordinate with the accounting team on financial period-end closing and reporting.
Prepare Board Papers and compile materials for presentation to the Board of Directors (BOD) and BOD Committee meetings.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to meet statutory deadlines and compliance requirements.
Identify revenue generation opportunities, potential clients, and investor leads.
Oversee the development of business cases, proposals, and pitches; follow up on client leads.
Support cross-departmental corporate initiatives and project tenders.
Provide guidance, training, and onboarding support to junior team members.
Lead or participate in ad hoc projects and assignments as directed by the Group CFO or Management.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, Economics, or equivalent.
Skills & Expertise: Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and time management skills.
Advanced financial modelling and presentation skills.
Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience, preferably in corporate finance, investment banking, or treasury.
Languages: Spoken & Written: English, Malay, and Mandarin
Other Requirements: Good understanding of Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, Companies Act 2016, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
