About the job Finance Manager (Basic up to 12k)

We are representing our client,a company engaged in marine aquaculture, wholesale of fish and seafood, and management activities of holding companies.

  • Working hours: Mon-Fri (8.30am-5.30pm)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages accounting, auditing, taxation and financing for the Company.
  • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company and oversee the Finance Department.
  • Plans and coordinates all activities related to finance and administrative task such as financial reporting, budgets preparation, etc. to ensure it is functioning smoothly and efficiently.
  • Establish the financial policies of the Company and review the costing system of the inventory.
  • Oversee cashflow management of the Company, to monitor payment and collection schedule to achieve efficiency in cash management system.
  • Timely liaises with External Auditors, Tax Agents, Bankers, Company Secretaries and Statutory Department for related matters.
  • Ensure internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with regulatory laws and rules for financial, statutory, audit and tax reporting / requirements.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance and/or Professional qualification e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CPA.
  • At least 5 Years of audit working experience in one of the reputable audit firms and/or at least 5 Years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Candidate possess sound knowledge of manufacturing financial operations will have an added advantage.
  • Familiar with Accounting Software.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills to communicate confidently, effectively and diplomatically at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously and independently
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Good written and verbal skills in English, Mandarin & Bahasa Malaysia.
